Mario and Nintendo was a huge part of my childhood growing up, so having the opportunity to work with such a legendary game studio was a very surreal, nostalgic, and humbling experience. As of January 26, 2012, Super Mario 3D Land has sold more than 5 million units globally, becoming the first 3DS game to reach the milestone and is the best selling game for the Nintendo 3DS.
